Bhadavar was an ancient Bhadravarta kingdom in the Mahabharata period. Mahat Kantar (Hatakant) Vindhyatvi (Ater) and Vindhyakanan (Bhind) are its historical witnesses. The Bhadravarta kingdom was a prosperous republic in the Pandava period. The Kshatriyas were very rich resources here, the prince here had attended the Yudhishthra Yagna with a lot of jewels and gold and offered him a yagna. In the Gopal Tapini Upanishad of Atharvad, Bhadravan is mentioned in Gopal’s favorite two bons which were on the banks of the Yamuna.

The nearest airport is Gwalior Airport which is located about 30 kilometers from Morena, about 80 kilometers from Bhind and about 210 kilometers from Sheopur district.
By Train
There is a railway station in Morena and Bhind district and Sheopur is connected to Morena and Gwalior via narrow gauge.
By Road
All the districts are well connected by bus. Tourists can take vehicles on their own or on rent as all the tourist places are well connected by road
